Compensation: 60K base + Commission

About the Role

We’re seeking a driven, resilient, and financially savvy Sales Funding Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in sales who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping businesses access short-term funding solutions.

As a Funding Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for qualifying leads, educating them on revenue-based lending, and bridging the connection to our Funding Executives. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently generate qualified opportunities and maintain a strong closing pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

·       Client Outreach: Initiate contact via phone, email, and text; maintain consistent follow-up. High call volume environment with progressive dialer (200+ per day)

·       Qualification: Assess client eligibility based on revenue, industry, and funding needs.

·       Pre-Sales Engagement:

-       Explain revenue-based lending and our unique value proposition.

-       Set realistic expectations based on client financials.

-       Share tailored examples of funding products.

·       Documentation Collection:

-       Secure applications, 6 months of bank statements, current MTD, and other required documents.

·       Pipeline Management:

-       Log tasks, track communications, and ensure timely follow-ups.

·       Bridge to Funding Executive:

-       Warm transfer or schedule calls with closers.

-       Re-engage clients if communication lapses.

Ideal Candidate Profile

·       Finance Background: Understanding of credits vs. debits, loan structures, and risk-based pricing.

·       Sales Experience: Comfortable making outbound calls and handling frequent rejection.

·       Resilient & Persistent: “Always fishing” mindset with a 25% close rate on qualified leads.

·       Strong Communicator: Able to speak confidently with business owners and decision-makers.
