Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Austin, TX (Full-time, Onsite)


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll processing, and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Prepare and issue timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and file tax documents and regulatory reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate financial data.
  • Reconcile payments and commissions in Salesforce.
  • Process payroll and manage vendor/contractor payments and invoices.
  • Track compensation plans, bonuses, SPIFs, and true-ups.
  • Monitor cash flow, deposits, and prepare cash flow reports.
  • Manage collections, accounts receivable, and clawback tracking.
  • Track and invoice volume bonuses; follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Categorize and report expenses, including credit card transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records.
  • Support 401(k) administration and related accounting tasks.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting systems.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in a family office or multi-entity environment is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
